Balancing supply and demand
Storing electricity is very expensive. Storage requires a continuous balance between supply and demand. Insight into the amount of energy to be transported, the expected energy demand and the supply is a requirement. What measures can be taken to encourage cooperation between players in the market or in decision-making? What is the impact of people on the system? What are the behavioral characteristics of the users? We want to gain a better understanding of this. A new business model is needed in which several producers of energy supply to a central point, an aggregator. The Aggregator is then responsible for balancing supply and demand. Which network optimization models can be used? And how can game theory help with this?
